Our services fall into two main categories – commercial and educational.
Commercial
- Programming scientific software using both modern and legacy languages.
- short-term (1 day to 3 months) contracts
- “small” jobs where diverting current staff would be undesirable
- Adding extra functionality to existing data processing software:
- recent work includes modifying Mosflm/iMosflm to process HDF5 files (as produced by the Eiger detector) for Dectris, Diamond Light Source and CCP4 – “on time and within budget”.
- Analysis of user interfaces.
- Training in data collection and data processing for industrial users.
Educational
- Teaching at training workshops, e.g.
- Rapidata at SLAC every year since 2016.
- CCP4 Crystallography School and Workshop at CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, India – October 2018
- IUCr Crystallographic Computing School, Bengaluru, India – August 2017.
- iNEXT course: X-ray and neutron diffraction studies of macromolecules: from data collection to structures, Oulu, Finland – May 2017.
- BAG training session at Diamond Light Source – February 2017.
