Harry has been organising workshops and conferences for over two decades.
He was the Treasurer/Secretary of the British Crystallographic Association’s Chemical Crystallography Group (CCG, 2000-2003) and the BCA‘s Treasurer (2008-2011), and was intimately involved in the organization of the annual meetings of both the CCG and BCA. He continues to take a leading role in organising computing Schools for both the IUCr’s Commission on Crystallographic Computing and the ECA’s Special Interest Group in Crystallographic Computing.
These events required him to identify venues, work with the local organisers, arrange the teaching, and prepare budgets.
